Target Population: The purpose of this program is to provide peer recovery support services via recovery community organizations to individuals with substance use disorders or co-occurring substance use and mental disorders or those in recovery from these disorders.

Eligibility:

SAMHSA is limiting eligibility for this program to Recovery Community Organizations (RCOs) that are domestic private non-profit entities in states, territories, or tribes. RCOs are independent, non-profit organizations led and governed by representatives of local communities of recovery. To ensure that recovery communities are fully represented, only organizations controlled and managed by members of the addiction recovery community are eligible to apply.
