Reminder: SAE to Attend ASAP Annual Conference in Saratoga Springs

This is a reminder that SAE representatives will be presenting at the New York State Association of Substance Abuse Providers’ 15th Annual Conference in Saratoga Springs this week. Our two sessions include:

  • An Executive Leadership Track Session that will provide an overview of NYS Health Care Reform initiatives entitled “What Just Happened?” outlining the initial effects of the passage of the Affordable Care Act within our state to the DSRIP planning efforts currently occurring today. This presentation will occur at 2pm on Monday, October 20, 2014, and its presenters will include Bill Panepinto, Senior Consultant, and Kristan McIntosh, Project Manager.
  • “Follow the Money and Grow with the Flow,” a workshop that will demonstrate how to align your organization’s grant writing and strategic planning efforts with the current health care reform landscape in order to position yourself for future success within both the grant writing and Medicaid managed care arena. This presentation will take place on Tuesday, October 21, 2014, from 3:30-5pm, and will be presented by Heidi Arthur, Vice President, and Kristan McIntosh, Project Manager.

If you will also be attending the conference, we hope to see you at these two sessions. In addition, we would welcome the opportunity to speak with you in greater detail one on one. If this is of interest to you, please email SAE’s Administrative Assistant Kate Kornblum, kkornblumsae@yahoo.com, who will assist with the logistical arrangements.
